Rainier Chapter Scholarships

 

The Rainier Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution proudly offers three scholarship opportunities.  The Charlotte MacDonald and Charlotte Malone Scholarship, the Mrs. Earl A. (Dorothy Myers) Phillips Scholarship, and the Phyllis Hadley Toomey Memorial Scholarship.

  • The scholarships are open to any student of higher education (high school seniors and college/university students) in good standing.

  • Scholarships are based on the merits of the application.

  • The amount of scholarship and the number of worthy recipients will be determined by the Rainier Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.

  • Both male and female students may apply.

  • Application Deadline is February 15.  Any applications received after that date will not be reviewed.

  • Scholarship awards will be announced in May.  Funds will be distributed directly to the college or university of acceptance.

The MacDonald Malone Scholarship

Available to students who have graduated or will graduate from the Seattle School district

or adjoining area school district (Shoreline, Renton, Tukwila, and Mercer Island School Districts),

or live within the greater Seattle area.

The Phillips Scholarship

 

The Toomey Scholarship
